Get The Whitest Smile In Plano, Texas!

May 20, 2016
Dr. Rick Barfield | 1st in Smiles - Plano, TX Dentist

Welcome to the 1st In Smiles blog!

We love helping the people of Plano, Texas keep their mouths clean and their smiles looking great. And we can certainly give your appearance a boost prior to any special occasions on your calendar.

Here’s an applicable story for you: When Dave came in for his last checkup and teeth cleaning, he had some embarrassment in regards to the color of his formerly-pearly whites.

We learned that he was discouraged because he had an upcoming family reunion, and his once gorgeous grin was now deeply discolored because of Dave’s daily dose of coffee, among other things. Maybe that sounds like your story, too!

In any event, Dave’s time was wasted on a DIY whitening project. You see, Dave’s wife had picked him up a store-bought whitening kit (like the ones you see at the local pharmacy) in an attempt to help remedy the situation. It did not shock us to hear that Dave didn’t get the results he wanted with the mass-produced trays and none too powerful gel.

That said, we were able to get Dave smiling when we told him how we go about the whitening process at 1st In Smiles. Dave’s story had a happy ending, and yours can too if you’ll only come in and let us help.

If you you are struggling with yellow, stained, or otherwise discolored teeth, a professional teeth whitening treatment from our office might be just turn things around for you!

Around here, we have two great options for folks who want to brighten their outlook. We have in-office teeth whitening, which requires that you are here in the office for about an hour.

Then we have another option where we can make impressions for you here and send you home with some professional grade whitening gel and trays that fit perfectly over their teeth to do the whitening at home around your busy schedule.

Regardless of which way works best for you, you can rest assured that our teeth whitening system will be safe, easy, and effective.

Whitening At The Dentist’s Office

When your teeth are severely stained, we will likely suggest that you have your teeth whitened in our office. Why? Because our in-office treatment is a bit stronger than traditional whitening systems, and you will be able to enjoy your results on the spot.

How do make it happen? At 1st In Smiles, we use Opalescence whitening products in conjunction with ultraviolet light to achieve your whitest possible shade in just one hour. Our in-office whitening protects your sensitive gums, too, so you’ll experience little or no irritation. Once the gel is activated, the embarrassing stains and discoloration will be lifted from your teeth.

Does it take long? Not at all! Like we said, your whitening treatment will take only an hour or so. Once the procedure is over, you will notice an immediate improvement, and you will go home with plenty to smile about. With occasional touch-ups, your teeth will remain white for years – unlike store-bought teeth whitening products that provide temporary results, when they do any good at all.

Whitening At Home

This option may be more appealing for you at this point in life. For your convenience, we offer Opalescence at-home teeth whitening trays in two different strengths.

Whitening your teeth at home is not only convenient, but you may also feel less self-conscious doing it.

Once your custom tray and materials are ready, you will just come into our office for us to quickly demonstrate the process.

Then, each night, you will place gel in the tray and then place the tray on your teeth while you sleep. The great thing is that you will see results as quickly as a week or two after repeated use.

Make it Happen On Your Own Terms!

Call us at 972-905-9266 to schedule your next whitening procedure. If you are already a regular patient, or you want to become one, be sure to ask about our free whitening for life promotion!
