How We Make Dentistry Easy at 1st in Smiles
Since Dr. Barfield was a kid, he wanted to be a dentist. Thanks to his own childhood dentist, he became interested in dentistry and still loves it more than 30 years later! We know that not everyone loves dentistry as much as Dr. Barfield or all the other team members here at 1st In Smiles. In fact, many people view dentistry as a chore, an inconvenience, a financial burden, or even a source of anxiety or fear! (If you haven’t read our recent blogs on relieving your dental fears, we hope you’ll take a couple minutes to read them here and here.)
We don’t want you to view dentistry in a negative way anymore. We want you to see the positive outcome it can have in your life and the lives of those you love! That’s why we make dentistry easy for you and your family. Take a look below at some of the ways our Plano, TX dentist office caters to you.
Special Offers
These days, it’s hard to get anything for free! But that’s what we like to do for our patients! All year long, we offer several specials and promotions for both new patients and existing patients. It’s our hope that these gifts to you will help you live a healthier, happier life!
Some of the specials we have going on now are a free Sonicare toothbrush with cleaning and exam, Free Whitening for Life, and a free Invisalign consultation. We also want to reward you for telling others about us by giving you and your referred friend a $50 credit each! You can use it toward any treatment here.
Been somewhere else and couldn’t afford the treatment? We also offer price matching. Call our office today to find out more.
Sedation Dentistry
If you read the blog posts linked at the beginning of today’s article, then you know that one of the ways we help our patients combat dental anxiety is with sedation dentistry. Millions of Americans skip out on the dentist out of fear. We want to make it easy for you to get the care you need, without fear standing in the way! We won’t tell you to suck it up and deal with the pain. And we won’t tell you the treatment won’t hurt at all, when you might experience discomfort. With sedation, you can relax throughout your treatment. Depending on what type you choose, you may even doze off and not remember anything at all! You’ll simply wake up when you’re done with a new and improved smile!
Sedation isn’t just to help those who are anxious, however. It’s also used if you need multiple treatments done in one visit. By relaxing you, sedation can help you stay calm and still while allowing us to work as efficiently and carefully as possible.
Preventive Focus
Our practice believes that prevention is the best cure! There are so many ways we can treat problems before they become bigger ones! We also like to stop problems before they even start. Check out our pages on Tooth Decay Prevention and Cleanings and Exams to find out just a few of the ways we can save you time, pain, and money down the road.
Convenient Hours
We’ve heard some patients say that they’ve skipped out on dental exams for the past few years because it’s hard to fit the appointment into their busy schedule. Does this sound like you? If so, you’ll be happy to hear about our convenient hours. We’re open Monday through Saturday at 7:00 a.m., so you can make an appointment before work or school. If you don’t want to get up that early, how about a later appointment or Saturday appointment? Three days a week we’re open until 6:00, and on Saturdays we stay open until 2:00. We can also see you for a same-day dental emergency.
Payments
Paying for the dentist is one of the biggest inconveniences that keep many people from seeing the dentist regularly. That’s why we offer several convenient payment options, including interest-free financing. Take a look at our payment options here, and call us for more information about how we can help you afford the dentist.
Think about it this way, too: if you come in for regular checkups, we can help cut your costs on expensive dental treatments by catching problems early or preventing them entirely!
Caring Staff
Our staff is here to make your life easy! From the front desk to your patient chair, we strive to be as helpful, kind, nonjudgmental, and professional as possible. It’s just one of the reasons patients have been coming back to see us for years.
