Take Back Your Life With Dental Implants

Mini Dental Implants | 1st in Smiles - Plano, TX Dentist

Welcome to the 1st In Smiles dentistry blog! We have been serving the Plano, Texas community for over 30 years now, and odds are we can help you with whatever you are dealing with in terms of oral health.

In the event that you have experienced adult tooth loss, we’d love to hook you up with one of our dental implant treatments that can help you take back your life.

We have found that implants are much more stable and lifelike than bridges, and they eliminate the mess and instability of dentures. And, importantly, they also preserve your healthy tooth structure because there’s no need for us to file down healthy teeth to place your implants.

Our highly qualified dental team uses the latest dental technology, including our intraoral cameras and digital X-rays, to diagnose, plan, and place your implants, all within a comfortable and relaxing environment.

We are confident that you will appreciate all that our implants can do for you. Read on to learn more, and then be sure to follow up with us to schedule your implant consultation!

We Make Implants Easy

This simple surgical procedure involves a two-step process. Here’s the deal: your implant will first be inserted and allowed to fuse with your bone. This will mimic the function of your root.

After the necessary healing has happened, a dental crown will be placed during your second visit to our office. This is the part that will look like the top of your natural teeth.

There’s nothing to it, really!

Implants Make You Look Better

After you lose teeth, your smile, along with your self-assurance, will deteriorate. And your cheeks will likely collapse, making you look old before your time. Studies have shown that people with missing teeth come across as less friendly, because they avoid talking to others, so they don’t have to show their teeth. It makes sense, but that doesn’t have to be your long-term fate.

The crown we place over the implant will look and feel completely natural, it will give you a fuller smile and facial support. You will look good again and regain your confidence, too!

No Discomfort With Implants

When it comes to artificial teeth, nothing will be as easy or as comfortable as a dental implant. Our implant and crown combination feels so much like your natural tooth that you’ll forget that they don’t belong there.

Implants Make Eating Fun Again

After the procedure, you will once again have real biting power. This means that you can go back to eating the foods you love, and the fiber-rich stuff that keeps your health on-track.

Unlike dentures, your implant will be totally secure because it will be bonded directly to your jawbone. This means that you can eat with confidence again.

Caring For Implants Is Easy

You simply brush twice a day and floss once like you normally would, and come into our office for regular checkups to make sure your gums are healthy. That’s all the maintenance that is required!

1st In Smiles Implant Choices

In our Plano office, we provide multiple implant options!

Single implants are perfect for patients missing one tooth. These can be finished in a day and ready in only a few months. Multiple implants can be great for permanent bridges. Mini implants work well for patients with bone loss or who need an implant in a tight area. All-On-4® and All-On-6® implants can give you a new set of teeth that are permanently attached. We also offer implant-supported dentures, if that appeals to you!
