Veneers are a porcelain restoration that is bonded to the front of teeth and it can be used to help somebody that has discolored teeth or chipped teeth or crowded teeth. We can remove a little bit of tooth structure on the front of the teeth and bond porcelain restorations and get a really nice cosmetic appearance.

In addition to their versatility, veneers offer:

  • Quick Results – Depending on the type of veneer you choose, you’ll be able to complete your dental veneers treatment in as few as two visits to our office.
  • A Long Life – Durable veneers should look great for at least a decade, and they often last far longer than that.
  • A Natural Appearance – We’ll carefully match your veneers to your other teeth, so they will blend easily into your smile.
  • Minimal Impact on Teeth – Unlike a dental crown, we’ll only need to remove a tiny amount of enamel from your teeth. Because we use ultra-thin Lumineers veneers, we may not need to remove any enamel at all!

Depending on the condition of your teeth, veneers may be a great alternative to orthodontics for addressing the appearance of slightly crooked teeth. Ask Dr. Barfield if this or other cosmetic procedures, like teeth recontouring, will help you best achieve your smile goals. If you’ve already spoken to another dentist about veneers, you can get a free second opinion from Dr. Barfield. Call 972-905-9266 to schedule a consultation.

You May Be a Candidate for Ultra-Thin Lumineers Veneers

We offer Lumineers, an ultra-thin veneer that delivers a natural-looking, long-lasting smile solution in only two visits. Dr. Barfield will make a custom mold of your teeth that a dental lab will use to create your restorations. If needed, he will remove a bit of enamel first. Lumineers are so thin, however, that they usually require no removal of tooth enamel – and that means no shots during the process! He will also match the color of the veneers to your other teeth, or you can choose how white you want them to be if they’ll cover several teeth.

At your next visit, Dr. Barfield will make sure your custom-made veneers are the right color and fit. Then he’ll bond them onto the surface of your teeth. You’ll walk out with pearly whites that you can’t stop smiling about!

Chris Fischer

Right after I had been visiting him, I had a below the gum cleaning, I had never had one of those in my life and as I said, I’m a little fearful of going to the dentist so that actually helped me as far as my dental health. They were able to identify some issues I was currently having and I think that by having that below the gum cleaning, it also helped avoid some possible future issues that I may have had. When I had my root canal, I was extremely pleased that he took the time to explain the entire process and it started off more of “okay we are going to go with a crown, however, it could evolve into a root canal and if we do have to do that, here are the additional steps or procedures”. If I had any follow up questions he was available. I do know that I had a little bit of pain even after, I guess the normal period, so when I called him, he was like “come right in” and that impressed me because I know with my other physicians or doctors, it’s rare that you call and they say to come right in and we’ll see you. I want the best for my family and I think when I’m at Dr. Barfield’s office, I get that same feeling from him, I’m more than just a customer, it’s more than just taking care of business, he truly cares about me and my family members.
