Definitely, my top teeth were not terribly crooked, but my bottoms were very crooked. He had to do a lot of work on my bottom teeth. We have two kids, and just life is expensive, and it was just making the decision to go ahead and do it was also a challenge because it’s an investment. You’re investing in yourself. I don’t regret. I’m so glad that I went ahead and did it. The process was very easy, and definitely enjoyed the Invisalign as opposed to having just the regular braces that I wore as a teenager.
I’m a professional, and I’m middle aged, and I just really didn’t want to have silver in my mouth. At the time, I was going out on interviews, and so on and so forth, so I didn’t want to show up for an interview and have a bunch of silver in my mouth, so I chose the Invisalign, and I liked the fact that when you had the trays in you really couldn’t tell that there was anything on your teeth. I also liked the fact that you advance your trays every two weeks. If you wear them as recommended your teeth move really quickly. You don’t have to be in your Invisalign for as long as you would the regular braces.
My husband compliments all the time. He goes, “Man, your teeth look great.” I’m like, “I’m so glad I did it.” Definitely, my teeth are not the same as they were when I was young, because as we get older, they just take on a different shape. But, again, I’m really proud of my smile and I get complimented on it all the times.
